When you hear the word "dark", the first thing that comes to mind is surely the opposite of light. This is not the case for the Bronx, NY native and hip-hop artist, "Darq." Darq managed to keep the light alive in a dark mind state. Since an early age, Darq had music ingrained in his soul. From breakdancing as a young boy to rocking his own shows in major cities across the country, such as, Philadelphia, Detroit, The Bay Area California, Las Vegas, Connecticut, all over the 5 boroughs of his hometown, NY, to name a few. As a teenager, Darq moved from New York, his birthplace and all he knew to an unfamiliar suburb outside of Philadelphia, PA. Being taken away from the place he loved took a lot of getting used to. Darq's never been a quitter and he used this change to expand his musical horizons.
